Her take on Telugu film industry

In March 2015, Radhika made a rather bold statement about the Telugu film industry. In an interview, she criticised the Telugu film industry for being ‘patriarchal’ and ‘male chauvinist’. She stated that she had struggled the most with the Telugu film industry and that she does not wish to make any more movies there. She also commented on how the actresses were not treated well there.

My family and I never get affected by any of these things. So it just doesn’t bother me”. She also added that she thought the world had lots of people who have no jobs and they sit at home and do whatever they want to do. So she can’t waste her time going and making a complaint about it or even looking at it.

If you’re going to get someone to pass off as naked me, she needs to look a lot more like me.” But the fact is that this tweet was posted about 4-5 days before her pictures went viral. According to a report, it was said that the leak was a publicity stunt by Radhika in order to promote her film, 'Badlapur'.

Anurag said that his film was inspired by a true story and it was very difficult to make it due to this little sequence in the film of a few seconds that involves the actress to lift her dress and expose her lower front part.
