Serving a jail term can test anyone’s patience, but Sanjay Dutt is strong-willed. He came out as a free man on the 25th of February after serving 42-month long sentence at Pune’s Yerwada jail. The actor was convicted for illegal possession of weapons in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case.

Soon after his release, Sanjay had a long list of duties that he fulfilled including visiting his mother’s grave and Siddhivinayak temple. He also held a press conference the same day to greet the media, but since then, he has chosen to stay off the limelight. The actor has been spending most of his time with his family at home. However, only recently, Sanjay made his first appearance at the India Today conclave last night and here is where he finally spoke his heart out about the whole jail term and his dreaded experience.

The India Today conclave has always been a house of creating controversies. First the AIB Roast controversy, the intolerance stir and then the JNU issue. And it was Sanjay this time, who managed to make a few headlines. From his judicial proceedings, to his jail term, the actor’s open revelations are sure to bring a tear or two in your eyes.
