Akshay Kumar, Twinkle Khanna, Veer Pahariya and several other celebs turned heads at today’s Sky Force film screening in Mumbai. The film is set to release on January 24. Ahead of the highly anticipated release, Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna attended a special screening of Sky Force in Mumbai on Thursday. Veer Pahariya, making his Bollywood debut with Sky Force, attended the screening in a stylish all-black ensemble, exuding charm and confidence. The screening event saw the presence of several celebrities, including Veer Pahariya’s brother Shikhar, his mother, Amar Kaushik, Orry, Vedang Raina, Nysa Devgan, Rasha Thadani, Sajid Khan, Dimple Kapadia, Himesh Reshamiya and Dinesh Vijan alongside the main cast including Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya.

About Sky Force

Sky Force is a 2025 Indian Hindi-language action drama film based on India’s attack on the Sargodha airbase of Pakistan in the Indo-Pakistani air war of 1965, which marked India’s first airstrike. The film stars Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya (in his acting debut) alongside Sara Ali Khan and Nimrat Kaur. It is directed by Abhishek Anil Kapur and Sandeep Kewlani, and produced by Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik under Maddock Films, and Jyoti Deshpande under Jio Studios. Officially announced in October 2023, Sky Force began filming in May 2023 in Mumbai. The principal photography wrapped up in late April 2024. It spanned over 100 days, with shooting held in parts of India and the UK.

The film first came into development in June 2022, with pre-production done by March 2023. It was officially announced on 2 October 2023, on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti. The film is inspired by India’s retaliatory attack on Pakistan’s Sargodha airbase in the Indo-Pakistani air war of 1965. The film was made on a budget of ₹160 crore. Principal photography began on 31 May 2023 in Mumbai. Filming moved to Lucknow in August 2023. The shooting was officially wrapped up on 26 April 2024. The film was shot over 100 days (including 60 days for Akshay Kumar). It has been shot in Mumbai, Lucknow, Sitapur, Amritsar, Hyderabad, Delhi, Pathankot and the United Kingdom. A special song involving Veer Pahariya and Sara Ali Khan was shot in Mussoorie. Filming concluded on 17 December 2024.
