Om Puri

Lastly, Om Puri has been zeroed in to lend his voice for Bagheera - the Black Panther, originally given by Ben Kingsley.

Nana Patkar

Nana Patekar is so apt for the voice of Sher Khan, the Bengal Tiger. The original voice was lent by Idris Elba in the English version.

Shefali Shah

The voice of Raksha, the wolf, will be the beautiful Shefali Shah. Lupita Nyong'o has given her voice for the Hollywood version.

Irrfan Khan

Irrfan Khan, last seen in 'Piku', will be giving the voice of Baloo, the bear, which is originally dubbed by Bill Murray in the International version.

Priyanka Chopra

Priyanka Chopra, who is busy grabbing eyeballs with her International ventures, will be taking some time out from her busy schedule to dub the voice of Kaa, the Python, originally given by Scarlett Johannson.

Here is the most exciting news of the day. Jon Favreau’s directorial venture ‘The Jungle Book’, which is to hit theatres on the 15th of April in the US, is soon to have a Hindi version and Disney India has roped in the best of actors to dub each character of the film.

The film is slated for release in India a week before its US release and from Priyanka Chopra to Irrfan Khan, the list of actors zeroed in to lend their voices, just gets exciting. Check it out yourself…
