Housefull
Housefull was a hilarious film and all the actors were splendid. But Houseful 2 was more like forced laughter. Unlike!
Hera Pheri
Hera Pheri can only be described with the term "cult" but sadly, the sequel Phir Hera Pheri didn't turn up that good.
Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai
A thorough narration of Mumbai's underworld. Along with that, appropriate blend of romance and music. But the sequel Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobara was rather messed up.
Raaz
Can't say we loved Raaz, but we surely disliked the sequels even more.
Golmaal
Original Golmaal was a classic; intelligent wit and flamboyant performance. As they say, old is gold. Classics should be spared of remakes, or be ready for a devastating outcome.
Bollywood probably is influenced by the Pepsi catch line “Dil Mange More”. It never backs off from creating sequels of successful films; and why lie, we want to get more of our favourite films. But at times, sequels rather turn to spoilers. These few Bollywood films were better off without sequels, absolutely!
