Don 2 had a positive-to-mixed critical reception in India and a mixed reception overseas. Shah Rukh Khan played a role of Don, a drug lord and the narrator of the film. He has established his dominion over Asia, and sets his sights on organised crime in Europe.

Paheli is a Bollywood fantasy film starring Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukerji. Paheli is based on the short story written by Vijayadan Detha and tells the story of a wife (Rani Mukerji) who is left by her husband (Shah Rukh Khan) and visited by a ghost, disguised as her husband, who is in love with her and takes her husband's place. It was one of the Shah Rukh Khan's finest performances with a different look in beard and turban.

Devdas is a 2002 Indian romantic drama film directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and based on the 1917 Sharat Chandra Chattopadhyay novella Devdas.
