The menace of substance abuse is spread all over the nation and Bollywood’s latest offering this Friday on 17th June, ‘Udta Punjab‘ highlights this critical issue. After fighting a long battle with the CBFC over 89 cuts, the makers of this film sighed a sense of relief after Bombay High Court passed this film with only 1 cut and the addition of three disclaimers. Released today, Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer saw a star-studded event on Thursday night when many B-Town celebs graced their presence at its special screening hosted by the makers at Sunny Super Sound. Apart from stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif both Shahid and Alia looked more than happy and proud to catch their work on the big screen along with their families who indeed turned this night into a special one for them.
