‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’ – Manu Sharma
R.Madhavans performance in 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns' is applaud worthy. Although he kept is subtle in the prequel of the same but this time, he aced it. Manu Sharma (R.Madhavan) trying to amend his marriage with the unconventional wife Tanu (Kangana Ranaut) and then a blossoming affection towards Kusum aka Datto, who is also a lookalike of Tanu. All of this twist and turns showed us the witty side of R.Madhavan and we absolutely loved it!
‘3 Idiots’ – Farhan Qureshi
One of the cult classics, 3 Idiots can be watched over and over again without getting bored! R.Madhavan's performance in the film nothing but ordinary. His role was not overshadowed by the star Aamir Khan. The fun loving and the mischievous side he portrayed in the film was loved by many.
‘Rang De Basanti’ – Ajay Rathod
One of the best cult classics ever made, Rang De Basanti has touched millions of hearts. The movie had a huge star cast with all of them having a full-fledged role. However, R Madhavan played the role of an Air Force pilot Ajay Rathod. although the role was short but he succeeded to establish himself in the movie with his outstanding performance.
‘Rehnna Hai Terre Dil Mein’ – Madhav Shastri
One of the most loved movies of all times. it gave us plenty of reason is to why love is important. R.Madhavan as Madhav Shastri aka Maddy has delivered a mind blowing performance. The movie was a heart melting story, with Reena Malhotra (Dia Mirza) and Madhav falling in love and their saga that had us crying and smiling at the same time! Some Bollywood movies become an all time favorite and RHTDM is one of them.
R. Madhavan an actor par excellence started his journey from Indian Television and went on to debut in Bollywood with ‘Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein’. He has managed to rock the box office with his Bollywood films but is still not given the superstar status allotted to the other actors. Though R Madhavan is considered a superstar in Southern cinema but that position has been alluding him in Bollywood.
