The wedding

Amitabh Bachchan claimed that the wedding would be a ‘low-key’ affair, it turned out half of Bollywood made it to Pratiksha. It’s the other half which didn’t, that divided the tinsel town and brought the camp war right out in the open.

The Sri Lankan affair

Too much history or a publicity stunt? A Sri Lankan resident slapped a case on the Aishwarya Rai claiming that they had shared a romantic relationship in the past and her sudden marriage to Abhishek had caused him deep mental stress.

The honeymoon

The Bachchans are one of the most influential families of Bollywood. They have the power, and tend to show it off every now and then. Apparently during their honeymoon in Florence the newlyweds completely ignored the promotional campaign for 'Guru' which left Mani Ratnam (the director) offended. Apparently, even actress Rani Mukerji was miffed with the couple because it put the shooting schedule of her next movie, 'Laaga Chunari Mein Daag' on hold.

The kiss in ‘Dhoom’

Aishwarya Rai is far from being coy on the silver screen but when Ms Rai became Mrs Bachchan, things changed a tad bit. The actress left her in-laws - 'The Bachchans' - gobsmacked with her onscreen kiss with Hrithik Roshan for her movie 'Dhoom 2'. However, reportedly the Bachchans were furious and went on to get the scene deleted from the movie.

Abhishek to the rescue

There was also a rumour that suggested Aishwarya Rai was facing a wrath from her mother in law Jaya Bachchan, and this might be the reason why Ash wanted to move out of Jalsa. However, Abhishek later took to the media to dismiss all such rumours, so we’re guessing it all ended well.

Trouble in paradise?

According to reports, all was not hunky dory for Bachchan Jr and Ash. The actress was apparently desiring for a separate home for her husband and daughter.

The ex-syndrome

On the day of the infamous Bachchan wedding, a young model appeared and claimed to be Abhishek Bachchan's ex-girlfriend and Abhishek was rightfully hers, and also threatened to slit her wrists in front of his bungalow before the media meddled.

‘Sarbjit’ premiere

At the premiere of 'Sarbjit' while the shutterbugs wanted more pictures of Aishwarya and Abhishek, the latter opted to walk out from there. Well, this started a speculation that all is not well between the two. However, later it was revealed that Abhishek didn't want to take the centre stage as it was Aishwarya's film and it was her moment.
