In 2007, Anushka Sharma auditioned for '3 Idiots' at the age of 19 which was directed by Rajkumar Hirani. But the director rejected Anushka and the role was finally done by Kareena Kapoor and it became the highest-grossing film in its opening weekend in India.

Anushka Sharma was first approached by Imtiaz Ali for a film but she rejected the role as she didn't give much thought to the film. And it was finally done by Deepika Padukone opposite Ranbir Kapoor.

Baar Baar Dekho

Anushka Sharma also rejected Farhan Akhtar's upcoming film 'Baar Baar Dekho' due to some reasons and the role will be finally played by Katrina Kaif opposite Sidharth Malhotra. The film is scheduled to release on September 9, 2016.

As per reports, the Shamitabh director was not sure if Saif Ali Khan’s dear wife would give her nod for the movie.
