Prabhas to essay the role of Lord Shiva?

The Adipurush star will be working alongside Vishnu Manchu in Kannappa. Not only this, the buzz is that he will essay the role of Lord Shiva in the film. Though Prabhas starrer Adipurush performed well at the box office, it received mixed responses from the netizens. Just when we were wrapping our heads around the buzz of Prabhas playing the role of Lord Shiva, came a confirmation from Vishnu Manchu.

Well, if the reports of Prabhas playing the character of Lord Shiva turn out to be true, he will surely not disappoint his fans and followers. Kriti Sanon’s sister Nupur Sanon will also be a part of Vishnu Manchu’s project alongside Prabhas. Kannappa will mark the team up of Prabhas and Nupur Sanon for the first time. The film stands directed by Mukesh Singh and written by Paruchuri Gopalakrishna, Burra Sai Madhav, and Thota Prasad. Kannappa will be produced under the banner of Ava Entertainment and 24 Frames Factory.

Prabhas upcoming films

Prabhas has some interesting projects in the pipeline. The actor will be seen in Salaar: Part 1 Ceasefire. The film is directed by KGF director Prashanth Neel and promises to be high on action. The film is rumoured to be a part of Yash’s KGF but the makers haven’t confirmed or denied it. Previously, Salaar was supposed to be released this month on the 28th, but unfortunately, it got postponed. The Prabhas starrer film will now release in November 2023. Apart from Salaar, Prabhas will also be seen in Kalki 2898 AD. He will share the screen with Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and more.
