Agent: On Akhil Akkineni’s birthday, first look poster unveiled; Nagarjuna and Amala Akkineni grace the launch event

On Akhil Akkineni’s birthday, the makers of Akhil5 unveiled the title and first look of the film. It is titled, Agent and directed by Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy fame Surender Reddy. It is the first collaboration between Akhil and director Surender Reddy. The film is jointly backed by Anil Sunkara and Surender Reddy under the banners, AK Entertainments and Surrender 2 Cinema.

Anil Sunkara took to his Twitter handle to wish Akhil Akkineni and also shared the first look poster of the film. He wrote, “‘A’ura + ‘S’tyle = ‘A’ttitude of our ‘A’GENT. Anil is playing a spy in the movie and in the poster, he is seen with a half-burn cigarette on his hand and looked rugged in the long hairdo and beard.

The film was launched with a formal pooja ceremony. Akhil Akkineni’s father Nagarjuna and mother Amala graced the event. Agent’s shooting will start on April 11 and is slated to release on December 24.
