Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is very much respected in France for her connection with Cannes Film Festival.This year she will be receiving a special invite for the festival which is being held later this year and will also celebrate 100 Years of Indian cinema.

Responding to a question, French Ambassador to India Francois Richier told reporters here yesterday that”She is very dear to our heart and we are very grateful to her,The Cannes festival will have a special focus on Indian Cinema where we will invite Indian film stars,and Aishwarya too will be invited”.
Well its not surprising as Ash has been endorsing a French Cosmetic Brand since a long time.
