Akshay Kumar in Bhansali’s Next – ‘Gabbar’

The winning combination of Rowdy Rathore, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Akshay Kumar  are back with an entertainer ‘Gabbar’. SLB  will now produce the remake of Tamil blockbuster Ramana (2002) with Akki as ‘Gabbar’. The film highlights the fight against corruption.

According to sources, initially the movie was to be titled Ramana, much like the original but creative maverick SLB, known to be extremely particular about titles, suggested calling it Gabbar. Not too many know that it was he who also suggested Rowdy Rathore as the title for his record-breaking film. While the official rights have been acquired, the makers will soon announce the leading lady. Says a source, “It’s been a great year for Bhansali Productions — Ram Leela is eagerly awaited. Bhansali Productions now looks to taking its success benchmark several notches higher with Gabbar.

Well Lets wait and watch  how Akshay will fare as Gabbar  at the Box-office.
