Akshay Kumar all set to work with Dharma Productions

Akshay Kumar is all set to work with Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions for the first time in his career. The movie is a remake of the English movie ‘Warriors.’ The movie will also have Sidharth Malhotra playing an important role.

‘Warriors’ was released in 2011. The movie is about two brothers who want to win a boxing championship. It was a hit in Hollywood.

The Hindi version will have Akshay Kumar in Joel Edgerton’s role and Sidharth Malhotra in Tom Hardy’s role. The movie will be directed by Karan Malhotra of ‘Agneepath’ fame.

Akshay Kumar has never worked with Karan Johar in the past. Akshay was offered a film named ‘Guthka’ last year which was to be directed by Punit Malhotra and produced by Karan Johar. But Akshay did not like the script and rejected it.

Akshay Kumar could not say no to Karan Johar this time as he liked the script very much. The movie is expected to go on floors soon and will be releasing in 2016.
