Akshay Kumar’s emotional tweet on the last day of ‘Rustom’

Akshay Kumar has teamed up Neeraj Pandey once again. This time around the duo has come together for a romantic thriller named ‘Rustom’. The movie has the actor depicting the role of a naval officer. Recently the Khiladi wrapped up the shoot of the film and posted an emotional message on his Twitter handle.

Akshay tweeted,

It’s time to rest the cap coz its a wrap ? Last day of #Rustom today, had a ball shooting this one! #mixedfeelings pic.twitter.com/B828Uqqhjh

Producer Shital Bhatia says, “‘Rustom’ is inspired from a real life incident but is purely a work of fiction. The story is based in the late 50s and has been shot in India and Britain. Akshay Kumar’s character in ‘Rustom’ demands a completely new avatar. Ameira Punvani, who is the costume designer, has already begun work on Akshay’s look. Though we can’t reveal much, the role is something that he has never played before.”

The movie also stars Ileana D’Cruz and Esha Gupta. It will hit the screens on August 12, 2016.
