Akshay Kumar’s Next – A Film On Dada Kondke

Dada Kondke ruled the roost of Marathi Cinema with films that were loved and criticized for their excessive double entendre  and sexual innuendo.The Man was famous for his Bumbling simpleton act wearing striped shorts in most of his films ,the good news for dada’s fans is that Akshay Kumar and Ashwini Yardi has bought the rights of Kondke’s biography titled Ekta Jeev, authored by Anita Padhye.

According to sources,Pandhya confirmed this and said,“The film will be based on my book, which was written in 1999 on the basis of my interactions with Kondke, recorded in 80 audio cassettes of 90 minutes each.It’s an interesting idea to make a film on such aman,”adding, “It’s a matter of time before Akshay and Ashwini make an official announcement.”
