Ali Fazal: Momal Sheikh was the ‘jaan’ of ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’ team

Pakistani actress Momal Sheikh will be making her Bollywood debut with Mudassar Aziz’s directorial venture ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi‘. Her co-actor from the film Ali Fazal has some good things to say about the debutante.

Ali said, “Momal was the new person on set and we loved taking her trip. Once, there was an India versus Pakistan cricket match and all through the day we pulled her leg. Though she was the butt of all our jokes, she always had fast, witty comebacks for us. She was cool about it all. Initially, we would be surprised when, after pack up, she would ask us, ‘Why isn’t any party happening here?’ When we joked, ‘Aren’t you from Lahore?’, it turned out that we were the uncool ones. She was the jaan of our team.”

‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’ features Diana Penty, Abhay Deol, Ali Fazal and Momal Sheikh in lead roles. Directed by Mudassar Aziz and produced by Anand L. Rai and Krishika Lulla, the movie will be hitting the big screen on Aug 19, 2016.
