Alia Bhatt to take the Hollywood route?

Alia Bhatt has created a niche for herself in Bollywood within a short time span. The actress is now eyeing Hollywood. She confessed that she wants to experiment with acting in Hollywood and a web series for a platform like Netflix too.

Ali said, “I’m going to step into Hollywood maybe a little slower, but definitely I have plans. I look upto Hollywood actress Jennifer Lawrence. She is somebody I really look up to because I really like the kind of choices she makes. She’ll do the Hunger Games but then she’ll also do the Silver Linings Playbook. So I probably want to start with like a Silver Linings Playbook, something more where there’s more scope for performance, you know, because I feel like that’s where I’ll really learn.”

The Bhatt gal says, “Though it was difficult to shake of my famous father Mahesh Bhatt’s legacy, but i am getting recognition on my own merit. You can say acting’s my husband and singing is my boyfriend. It’s a long-term commitment with my acting. Singing is something that I’m really, really fond of, but I don’t know how far I can take that in my life.”

Looks like Alia Bhatt is following a well-worn path that has already been trodden by Priyanka Chopra, Irrfan Khan, Deepika Padukone on an international level. The Bhatt gal is at present riding high on the success of her recent release ‘Udta Punjab’ that has brought the beauty oodles of appreciation for her role of a Bihari migrant worker. She will soon be seen in Gauri Shinde’s ‘Dear Zindagi’ with Shah Rukh Khan.
