It was in July Allu Arjun shared the news of his daughter Allu Arha making her debut in acting with the movie, Shakuntalam. Sharing the news, Allu wrote that it is “a proud moment for the Allu family”. Directed by Gunasekhar, the movie stars Samantha Akkineni in the lead female role.

Arha has wrapped up her portions of the movie and sharing a picture of himself with his daughter, the Pushpa actor penned an emotional note for Arha. They were shooting in the same studio for their films. In the picture, we see Allu Arjun carrying his daughter Arha in his arms. His note read: “Today my daughter Arha and I are shooting for different films at the same location. So, got to visit her set. I was expecting something like this to happen maybe after 15-20 years. But it happened so soon. PUSHPA meets BHARATA in SHAAKUNTHALAM. What a memorable coincidence.”

Later, Allu Arjun shared a video of Arha celebrating the wrap-up party of her shoot with the Shakuntalam team. In the video, Arha can be seen enjoying the party with her family and director Gunasekhar and others. Sharing the video, Arjun wrote, “Thank you @gunasekhar1 garu & @neelima_guna and the entire team of #shaakuntalam for this sweet memorable gesture . The way you & your family pampered her is unforgettable(sic)”.

Talking about Shaakuntalam, it is a Telugu language mythological drama and Allu Arha is playing Prince Bharata. Dev Mohan plays King Dushyant while Mohan Babu will be seen as Durvasa Maharshi. This movie is being bankrolled by Gunasekhar’s daughter Neelima Guna and Dil Raju’s daughter Hanshitha Reddy under Gunaa Team works and Dil Raju Productions banners.
