Actor Allu Arjun and his wife Allu Sneha Reddy were recently in New York, as the Pushpa actor represented India at one of the most well-known annual events the India Day parade organised by the Indian diaspora in the US. The pics and videos from the event have gone viral on social media. A video clip that has become the talk of the town is of the Stylish Star doing his iconic hand gesture from Pushpa: The Rise.

In the video, we have seen his fans cheering and trying to catch a glimpse of their favourite star. He was waving at the crowd as he was standing on a vehicle. The Pan-India star was in a white Jodhpuri kurta with a tricolor handkerchief.

He also took to his Instagram Story and wrote a thankful note saying, “IT WAS AN HONOUR BEING A GRAND MARSHAL AT THE INDIAN DAY PARADE IN NYC”.

India marked its 75th year of Independence on August 15 this year and the Federation of Indian Associations of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut have joined forces to celebrate 75 years of India’s Independence in a grand manner. The star was acknowledged with the coveted title of Grand Marshall in the parade which was also shown on the LED Screens at Times Square. This is one of the proudest moment for India as an Indian actor represented the country globally.

Meanwhile, Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2, directed by Sukumar, went on floors today, on August 22. The actor also has Koratala Siva’s project in his kitty. He also has Icon with Venu Sriram and films with Boyapati Srinu and AR Murugadoss.
