Actor Allu Arjun has landed into trouble as reportedly a police complaint has been filed against him. As per a report in IANS, a social activist Kotha Upender Reddy claimed an advertisement of educational institution, which featured Allu Arjun, was deceptive and provided incorrect information.
The news agency reported that the social activist wanted an action to be taken against such misleading advertisements. He filed a complaint with Ambarpet police against the Pushpa actor for appearing in the advertisement and against Sri Chaitanya Educational Institutions for providing fake information.
Kotha Upender Reddy urged that Allu Arjun and Sri Chaitanya Educational Institutions be prosecuted for deceiving the people. Earlier, the actor has already received criticism for marketing a food delivery app. He was even given a warning for promoting a bike app by disparaging government transit services.
Allu Arjun is yet to comment on the matter.
On the work front, Allu Arjun was last seen in blockbuster Pushpa: The Rise. The Sukumar directorial grossed over Rs. 300 crores worldwide. Its Hindi-dubbed version collected over Rs. 100 crore. It also starred Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in pivotal roles. The film’s sequel–Pushpa: The Rule– will reportedly release in cinemas in December 2022. The Stylish Star will begin shooting for it soon. Apart from this, he has Icon with Venu Sriram, and films with Koratala Siva, AR Murugadoss, Boyapati Srinu and Prashanth Neel in his kitty.
