Allu Arjun reveals why he hasn’t met the hospitalised Pushpa 2 stampede victim after getting bail: “I have been advised…”

Actor Allu Arjun is going through tough time in his life amid Pushpa 2 massive success. However, the actor was arrested after a case was registered against him following death of a woman and hospitalisation of her son during stampede at movie’s screening. While he has been granted interim bail, netizens are trolling him of not meeting the hospitalised victim and instead greeting family and friends. Allu Arjun has now issued a statement clarifying why he has not met the injured boy.

Allu Arjun on not meeting stampede victim after arrest

The actor took to Instagram on Sunday to share the note to break his silence about why he has not visited the hospital to meet the child. In the statement, the actor explained, “I remain deeply concerned about young Sri Tej, who is under constant medical care after the unfortunate incident. Due to the ongoing legal proceedings, I have been advised not to visit him and his family at this time. My prayers remain with them and I remain committed to taking responsibility for addressing the medical and family needs.” Allu continued, “I wish him a speedy recovery, and I look forward to meeting him and his family at the earliest”.

What went wrong at Sandhya theatre?

For the unversed, a 35-year-old woman died and her 8-year-old son had to be hospitalised on the night of December 4 when a large number of fans thronged the Sandhya theatre in Hyderabad to catch a glimpse of Allu Arjun. Following this, a case was registered against actor, his team and theatre authorities. The actor was then taken into custody amid tight security from his residence. However, he was granted interim bail and he is now out. After the incident, Allu had announced Rs 25 lakh for the bereaved family and said he would meet them personally.

Talking about Pushpa 2, the film also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil. So far, it has raked in over Rs 1000 crore globally within a week. Today, the film is expected to enter Rs 500 crore club in Hindi language.
