Pushpa: Allu Arjun REACTS to Samantha’s Oo Antava song controversy

Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa is slated to release on December 17. The movie landed into controversy ahead of its release. Recently, the makers released a glimpse of the item song Oo Antava (Oo Solriya in Tamil) featuring Samantha. The controversy was regarding the song as it was alleged that the lyrics portray men as lustful people. During a media interaction in Chennai, Allu Arjun reacted to the controversy surrounding Samantha’s item number in Pushpa. The Men’s Association filed a lawsuit against the makers of Pushpa in Andhra Pradesh and they have even sought a ban on the song.

At the press meet in Chennai, when Allu Arjun was asked about his opinion on Pushpa song controversy, he said, “It’s true. Whatever is written in the song is true.”

Oo Antava is composed by Devi Dri Prasad, the lyrics are written by Chandrabose and Viveka in Telugu and Tamil, respectively.

The first installment of Pushpa that is titled Pusha: The Rise, is releasing on December 17, 2021 in theatres. Written and directed by Sukumar, Pushpa also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil. Pushpa will release in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam languages.
