Pushpa 2 to release on December 6 only! Allu Arjun slams alleged delay in ‘Pushpa’ style- Watch

The excitement for the release of Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa 2: The Rule is immense. The sequel film was initially scheduled to release on August 15 – coinciding with Independence Day but was delayed due to unfinished shooting and post-production work. The film has since been postponed to December 6. However, in the recent past, reports surfaced regarding a fallout between the actor and director Sukumar, leading to many speculating about another delay in the film’s release.

Pushpa 2 not delayed

The film’s lead actor Allu Arjun and director Prithviraj Sukumar recently graced a promotional event of Rao Ramesh’s Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam. While at the event, Arjun and Sukumar left fans excited as they spoke about the sequel and dismissed rumours of the film being delayed. The National Award-winning actor confidently re-confirmed the film’s release date in his signature ‘Pushpa’ style.

Stating that Pushpa 2: The Rule is shaping up the way they envisioned it, Allu Arjun said in Telugu, “You all will like it. I will not say too much. December 6 Assalu Thaggedhe Le (English translation – I will not back down. Hindi translation- Main kabhi nahi jhukega). This is fixed.” Watch the clip here:

Talking about the film’s unexpected delay in filming, Allu Arjun added, “We initially thought we were doing ‘Pushpa’ for us. But it’s for you (pointing at the fans). We are working hard to provide the best experience to fans. A few scenes are taking more time and I don’t want to compromise on the quality. Allu Arjun’s performance and the film will be phenomenal.” Prithviraj Sukumar also joined the lead actor on stage and chanted, “Performance Thaggedhe Le. Movie Assalu Thaggedhe Le.”

For the unversed, rumours were running wild that Allu Arjun and Sukumar had a fallout due to unscheduled shooting breaks. However, the film team later clarifies such claims are false.
