Allu Arjun to start shooting for Pushpa 2 in October? Here’s what we know

Pushpa: The Rise created a tsunami at the box office by breaking several records. The Sukumar directorial released amidst the Covid-19 pandemic in December last year yet it minted moolah making it a blockbuster. For the unversed, Pushpa: The Rise was the highest-grossing Indian film of 2021 that collected around Rs 350 crore at the box office. From Allu Arjun’s dialogues to mannerisms to his dance steps, every single thing of the actor was copied by people across the country. Pushpa 2 had gone on floors recently with a pooja ceremony and Allu Arjun is all set to start shooting for the sequel soon. Reportedly, the Stylish star will commence shoot for Pushpa: The Rule in October.

An insder told Indian Express, “Allu Arjun will start shooting for Pushpa 2 in mid-October and his new look will be out soon. The star has been preparing for Pushpa 2”.

The pan-India star was recently honoured at SIIMA 2022 for his performance in Pushpa. At SIIMA’s after-party, AA also danced to Oo Antava and the video from the event went viral on social media.

Sharing a pic of himself posing with his signature Pushpa hand gesture and holding the trophy with one hand, Arjun wrote, “Thank you #SIIMA2022 ! Soo Blessed by the people to the best actor once again . It’s soo rare that getting it once itself is a dream & when it happens twice I truly feel very fortunate . Thank you for all the love . Gratitude ??”

Pushpa 2 will also star Rashmika Mandanna who will also join the shoot soon. Earlier, there were reports that actress Sai Pallavi is also a part of Pushpa 2. However, Ravi Shankar, one of the producers of the movie, denied these rumours.
