Allu Arjun meets late actor Puneeth Rajkumar’s family, pays homage to the Power Star

Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar’s sudden demise sent shockwaves across the nation. From fans, celebs to dignitaries, everyone mourned the death of the Power Star. Several actors from Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam film industries also attended the last rites of Puneeth in Bengaluru and visited his house post his death. Today, Pushpa actor Allu Arjun paid a visit to late actor’s house and paid homage. He met Puneeth’s family including his brother Shiva Rajkumar. The Icon star posted pictures of paying respects to Puneeth. He was in an all-black attire.

Sharing the pics on Instagram handle, Allu Arjun wrote, “My Humble respects To Puneeth Garu . My respect to rajkumar garu’s family , friends , well wishers & fans.”

Fondly called as Appu, the actor passed away last year due to a massive cardiac arrest. He was 46 and is survived by his wife, Ashwini Revanth and two daughters, Drithi and Vandhitha.

Puneeth Rajkumar’s last movie James will be releasing on his birth anniversary, i.e on March 17. It will be the only Kannada film for screening for a week, from March 17 to 25. The first look was unveiled recently. James is written and directed by Chethan Kumar. The movie also stars Anu Prabhakar, Srikanth, R Sarathkumar, Tilak Shekar, and Mukesh Rishi.

Coming back to Allu Arjun, he is currently basking in the success of Pushpa: The Rise. The movie broke several records at the box-office.
