Annaatthe First Look: Rajinikanth sashays his swag and style in the poster

Fans of Rajinikanth can rejoice as the first look of his upcoming movie Annaatthe is out. As per reports, the teaser of the movie will also be released today at 6 PM. In the poster, one can see Rajinikanth standing in a swag and looking happy in shirt and mundu. For the unversed, director Siruthai Siva and Rajinikanth have teamed up for the first time and fans cannot contain their excitement.

Directed by Siva, the film is tipped to be a family-action drama and will be on the lines of Rajinikanth’s earlier hits like Padayappa and Arunachalam. The superstar’s last film was Darbar with AR Murugadoss didn’t really ring the box office counters.

Nayanthara, who was also seen in Darbar, will once again share screen space with the actor. Aside from these two, the movie also stars Khushbu, Meena, Keerthy Suresh, Prakash Raj and Soori in important roles. While the film is produced by Sun Pictures, D Imman, with whom Siva worked in Viswasam, will compose the music. While cinematography and editing are by Vetri and Ruben respectively, the post-production is almost done.

The movie is all set to release on November 4, 2021. Last year around December, the Hyderabad filming schedule was halted due to crew members testing positive for COVID-19. The shooting was again put on hold as Rajinikanth was admitted to a hospital in Hyderabad for severe blood pressure fluctuation. Now, we got to know that the actor has apparently wrapped up his part of the shoot for Annaatthe. Post that, the superstar will head to USA for a regular health checkup.
