Annaatthe Trailer: Rajinikanth impresses as action hero; promises a mass entertainer

The much-awaited Annaatthe trailer is out! The makers today unveiled the trailer of Rajinikanth starrer. The movie also stars Keerthy Suresh who plays Rajinikanth’s on-screen sister. Also, it stars Nayanthara, Khusbhu Sundar, Prakash Raj and Jagapathi Babu in pivotal roles. Annaatthe is an action drama and is directed by Siva. It is slated to release in theatres on November 4, 2021.

The trailer shows Rajinikanth as Kaalaiyan, who is a village president who cares for his people, especially his sister (Keerthy Suresh). Jagapathi Babu plays the villain and he and Kaalaiyan seem to have face-off in the movie. The movie has humour, actions, stunts, and it makes a complete action entertainer.

Sharing Annaatthe trailer, Sun Pictures, the production house wrote, “Aaravaramai Akroshamai Anandhamai #AnnaattheTrailer (sic).”

Rajinikanth was last seen in director AR Murugados’ Darbar, in 2020. Fans are now excited to see him on screen after one year. Annaatthe is produced by Sun Pictures. Annaatthe introduction song is composed by D Imman, and is the last song by SP Balasubrahmanyam. He had recorded it before his demise.

Rajinikanth was conferred with the 51st Dadasaheb Phalke Award at the 67th edition of the National Film Awards for his contribution to Indian cinema. He met PM Narendra Modi and President Ram Nath Kovind with his wife. Today, he shared a few pics on his Twitter handle from his meeting with them.
