Telugu film producer Annamreddy Krishna Kumar breathed his last on May 26 morning. Reportedly, he died of cardiac arrest. He passed away in Visakhapatnam. Director Surender Reddy took to his Twitter handle to share the news of his demise and also offered condolences to his family.

The sad news came ahead of the release of his film, Anukoni Athidhi, a dubbed version of the Malayalam film Athiran. It is slated to release on an OTT platform on May 28. Talking about the psychological thriller film, Anukoni Athidhi, it stars Fahadh Faasil and Sai Pallavi and is directed by Vivek. The trailer of the Telugu version was released a few days back. The film also has Atul Kulkarni, Renji Panicker, Shanti Krishna, Prakash Raj, Surabhi, Sudev Nair, Nandu and Lena in pivotal roles.

Sharing a picture of Annamreddy, Surender Reddy tweeted, “It’s really disheartening to learn of Producer Kumar garu’s demise. A very positive person and a well-wisher of mine. You will be remembered. My heartfelt condolences to the family (sic).”

Condolence messages are pouring in for the producer on social media.

Recently, Telugu publicist and producer BA Raju also passed away in Hyderabad after suffering a cardiac arrest. From Rakul Preet Singh, Prabhas, Chiranjeevi, to Samantha Akkineni and Jr NTR, many celebs mourned the death of Raju.
