Anushka Shetty starrer Ghaati to release worldwide on THIS date

Anushka Shetty stunned one and all with her portrayal of a fiercely violent character in the glimpse of her much-anticipated film Ghaati, directed by Krish Jagarlamudi. After the Pan-India sensation Baahubali, this marks another highly awaited Pan-India film from Anushka.

It is presented by UV Creations and produced by Rajeev Reddy and Sai Babu Jagarlamudi. Ghaati is the second collaboration between Anushka and Krish, following the success of the blockbuster Vedam, and it also marks Anushka’s fourth film with UV Creations.

After generating excitement with the film’s initial glimpse, the makers have now revealed the release date- April 18th, perfectly timed for a summer release. This announcement came through a fun video featuring Krish, Anushka, and the producers. For a Pan-India film, summer proves to be the ideal season for such a grand release. The release date poster showcases Anushka in a fierce look, dressed in a saree. Standing on a hill with a gun in hand, she delivers a stern gaze, with blood marks scattered across her body.

With the tagline Victim, Criminal, Legend, Ghaati promises an unconventional narrative, delving into humanity, survival, and redemption. It’s set to be an intense, gripping exploration of the grey areas between right and wrong, where true legends are forged. Directed by Krish, the film is expected to deliver a visceral, action-packed experience.

A strong technical team backs Ghaati, with Manojh Reddy Katasani handling cinematography, Nagavelli Vidya Sagar composing the music, and Thota Tharrani as the art director. Chanakya Reddy Toorupu and Venkat N Swamy are the editors, while Sai Madhav Burra pens the dialogues. The film is mounted on a grand scale with a high budget and top-tier technical standards.

Ghaati will be released across multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. The film stars Anushka Shetty and is directed and written by Krish Jagarlamudi. Produced by Rajeev Reddy and Sai Babu Jagarlamudi under the banner of First Frame Entertainment, the film is presented by UV Creations.

The technical crew includes Manojh Reddy Katasani as the Director of Photography, Thota Tharrani as the Art Director, and Nagavelli Vidya Sagar as the Music Director. The dialogues are penned by Sai Madhav Burra, with a story by Chintakindi Srinivas Rao. Editing is handled by Chanakya Reddy Toorupu and Venkat N Swamy, while action choreography is by Ram Krishan. The film’s PRO is managed by Vamsi-Shekar.
