Arjun Kapoor ‘s take on healthy competition in film industry

Actor Arjun Kapoor is not one to be bogged down or stressed by competition in the film industry. The actor who has worked in seven films until now and is geared up for his upcoming film ‘Half Girlfriend’, is content with the work that he’s done. In spite of being in a tough and competitive sphere, the actor shares a warm camaraderie with the other actors off screen.

Here’s what Arjun revealed to a well-known daily, “It’s easy to look at an actor’s success last Friday and feel insecure, but you’ve to look at his or her journey. You can’t think why someone’s film worked and mine did not. I don’t do films to outdo others. Competition is healthy, and we all have to consolidate our position.”

When he was asked about the controversial comments made by the top actors, he refused to say anything, and stated, “Who am I to comment on it? They have their mindset and we should respect whoever has said whatever they have.”

Work wise, Arjun Kapoor is in a happy space as he is super excited about ‘Half Girlfriend’ that is directed by Mohit Suri and features Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles. The film is slated to release on April 28, 2017.
