Arya OPENS UP on alleged cheating case filed against him: I am sure the truth will come out

Tamil actor Arya, who was last seen in the hit movie Sarpatta Parambarai, is hitting headlines off late, as he got embroiled in a fresh controversy. A Sri Lankan woman from Germany had filed a complaint against him and accused him of the false promise of marriage. In her complaint, she also added that Arya had cheated on her for an amount of Rs. 70 lakhs. She even submitted screenshots of her chat with Arya and sought a ban on his upcoming movies. The actor was recently summoned by the Chennai Police and investigations are still on.

And now, the actor has opened up on the allegations levelled up against him. In an interview with SpotboyE, Arya said that the person is a fan who is just trying to get the limelight. He added, “I hope she has not been genuinely cheated by someone in my name. I am sure the truth will come out.”

In another interview, a close friend of the actor revealed that he and his family members are quite relaxed about the situation as these situations are quite common in celebs’ lives. Arya’s friend said, “It is not uncommon for celebrities to be targeted for blackmail. Every major actor goes through it. It’s Arya’s turn now. We know the truth. Arya’s family and friends are not worried.”

For the unversed, today is Arya’s wife and actress, Sayyeshaa Saigal birthday. There are chances that this controversy may impact their celebrations. Talking about the couple, in 2019, on Valentine’s day, Sayyeshaa had announced her wedding with her longtime actor-boyfriend, Arya. Almost a month after the announcement, on March 10, 2019, Sayyeshaa and Arya got married in a grand ceremony which was followed by a lavish reception. On the work front, he is now gearing up for his next called Teddy.
