Babli Bouncer: Tamannaah Bhatia to play bouncer in Madhur Bhandarkar film

Actress Tamannaah Bhatia has been roped in for Madhur Bhandarkar’s upcoming film ‘Babli Bouncer’. The movie has the actress in a never before seen avatar. She will be seen playing a bouncer in the upcoming release. It is said that Tamannaah’s character has never been attempted before in the history of cinema.

Directed by multiple National award-winning director Madhur Bhandarkar, the film is a delightful coming-of-age fictional story of a female bouncer, set in the real ‘bouncer town’ of North India – Asola Fatepur.

Tamannaah Bhatia has shared that the Babli Bouncer shoot has started. The actress took to Instagram and sharing a picture on Instagram wrote, “‘Ghana intezaar kiya hai iss din ka. Jab se @imbhandarkar ne Babli bouncer ke bare mein bataya ,Mein toh Babli hi banngi! Aaj se shoot shuru! #FoxStarStudios @foxstarhindi @jungleepictures!”

The picture showcases the actress posing with filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar. They are holding a Clapperboard with the name of the film on it.

Sharing her thoughts on kick-starting the shoot, Tamannaah said, “As soon as I read Babli Bouncer, I fell in love with the character because it is one of the most exciting and fun characters with a substance that I have come across. I can’t wait to dive into this whole new world.”

Produced by Fox Star Studios and Junglee Pictures, Babli Bouncer is directed by Madhur Bhandarkar’ It features Tamannaah Bhatia, Saurabh Shukla, Abhishek Bajaj and Sahil Vaid in pivotal roles.

The movie will be released at the end of this year in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
