After the re-opening of theatres, filmmakers took a sigh of relief as they can now release their movies in theatres. From Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi to Allu Arjun’s Pushpa to Naga Chaitanya starrer Love Story, many big movies released in theatres post the lockdown. Movies whose release dates have been postponed several times due to the Covid-19 lockdown will finally hit the theatres. Year 2022 will see many mega releases. RRR, Radhe Shyam, Brahmastra, Laal Singh Chaddha, KGF:Chapter 2, Gangubai Kathiawadi, Beast among others are the most anticipated movies of 2022. Well, Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati starrer Bheemla Nayak will also release next year. It was supposed to release on January 12 and clash with RRR and Radhe Shyam. RRR is slated to release on January 7, while Radhe Shyam is set arrive in theatres on January 14. To avoid the clash, the makers have now postponed the release of Bheemla Nayak. It will now release on February 25.
As per a report in Indian Express, the Telugu film producers’ guild on Tuesday held a press conference to thank Pawan Kalyan for agreeing to postpone Bheemla Nayak. Producer Dil Raju said, “The production of RRR and Radhe Shyam began almost three years ago and will be released across the country. We requested and convinced the producers and the hero of Bheemla Nayak to postpone the release considering all the factors, including the availability of theatres. We thank them on behalf of the producers guild”.
Bheemla Nayak is an official remake of superhit Malayalam movie Ayyappanum Koshiyum. It has been creating a lot of buzz. Directed by Saagar K Chandra and produced by Sithara Entertainments, the film also stars Nithya Menen and Samyuktha Menon in supporting roles.
