Bhramam, which is the official Malayalam remake of Bollywood hit Andhadhun was one of the most awaited movies of the year. The movie is finally released on Amazon Prime Video and as per Bhramam Twitter review, it seems like the movie is not really impressing the audience.
One of the viewers said, “Some parts of #Bhramam worked for me while some of the castings went terribly wrong. Prithvi did a decent job while Mamta couldn’t recreate the mystery set by Tabu in #Andhadhun. She was good in few scenes but most parts ended up as a comical act. Raashi Khanna’s dubbing was Thumbs down.” Another one wrote,”Watched #Bhramam Faithful Remake , But Not A Great One for those who watched #andhadhun it may end up as an average experience.”
This Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer is the Malayalam directorial debut of the veteran cinematographer-filmmaker Ravi K Chandran. In an interview, Prithviraj said that their movie is not a scene-by-scene remake and is a funnier version of Andhadhun. Aside from the above-mentioned actors, the movie also stars Shankar, Jagadish, Ananya, Sudheer Karamana, Leela Samson, Nandana Varma, and others. Jakes Bejoy, who rose to fame with Ayyappanum Koshiyum, has composed the songs and original score of the movie. The drama is jointly produced by Viacom 18 Studios and AP International.

Could be an Ok to Decent watch for those who have skipped Andhadhun,
For others it may end up as an unfaithful remake.

Personal Views :
Biggest advantage #Maestro had is it released before #Bhramam.
Watched #Maestro after watching #Andhadhun 2-3 years back. This helped to gain a freshness on the plot.
Watched #Bhramam after watching #Maestro a month back, so the freshness element wasn’t there.

While Prithviraj is playing the role which was played by Ayushmann Khurrana in the original Mamta Mohandas has reprised Tabu’s role from Andhadhun, while Raashi Khanna is essaying the role played by Radhika Apte in the original. Bhramam follows the life of a pianist named Rey Mathew who pretends to be blind. He gets caught up in the web of crimes after the murder of a yesteryear film star named Udaya Kumar.
