Breaking – Kareena Kapoor-Salman Khan in KJo’s ‘Shuddhi’

Filmmaker Karan Johar’s prestigious project ‘Shuddhi’ was under a cloud of uncertainty, as who will be playing the lead role in the film. But now it’s been confirmed that Kareena Kapoor-Salman Khan have been roped in to play the lead role. KJo’s ambitious project was almost shelved when Hrithik Roshan citing health issues opted out but seems like the arrival of the Dabanng Khan has acted like a rejuvenation for ‘Shuddhi’.

According to sources, it seems that Karan Johar has signed Kareena Kapoor and Salman Khan for ‘Shuddhi’. Kareena was the first choice for ‘Shuddhi’ but she apparently had walked out owing to some difference with the filmmaker.

“Karan has always considered Kareena as his sister and there is no rift between them. Due to Hrithik’s brain surgery ‘Shuddhi’ was delayed indefinitely which also affected Kareena’s date. But now all is clear and the film soon will be on floors”.

This is Salman Khan’s first movie with Karan Johar. Karan and Sallu always were keen to work together but things never materialised due to the filmmakers close proximity to King Khan.

Kareena Kapoor-Salman Khan jodi has always been appreciated. The two have worked in movies like, ‘Bodyguard’ , ‘Main Aur Mrs Khanna’ and also done a special item song ‘Fevicol Se’ in Salman Khan starrer, ‘Dabangg 2’.
