Chiranjeevi was in tears after son Ram Charan and wife Upasana announced pregnancy

In December 2022, South Superstar Ram Charan and his wife Upasana Kamineni Konidela took everyone by surprise when they announced that they are pregnant. Both of them took to their Instagram account and shared a statement on the same and fans rejoiced to know the happy news. As Ram Charan’s fans are happy, Ram’s father Chiranjeevi Konidela got extremely emotional after the couple broke the news.

Chiranjeevi reacts to their pregnancy news:

The GodFather actor revealed that they were waiting for six years for the happy and when he got to know about it, he was in tears. According to reports, Chiranjeevi shared during a recent interaction. Chiranjeevi was quoted saying, “We have waited for this news for over six years. After coming back from Japan where they promoted RRR, both of them made us sit and shared this happy news. It was one of my happiest moments. I had tears in my eyes.”

Back in December, the RRR actor shared a statement on social media which read, “With the blessings of Shri Hanumanji. We are delighted to share that Upasana and Ram Charan are expecting their first child. With love and gratitude Surekha and Chiranjeevi Konidela Shobana and Anil Kamineni”

Earlier, Ram Charan had opened up about having kids and clarified, “As a son of Mega Star Chiranjeevi, I have the responsibility of making fans happy. If I start a family, I may deviate from my mission. Upasana also has a few goals. So, we decided not to have kids for some years”.

Ram Charan and his wife Upasana have been married since 2012 and after a decade, the couple decided to bring another cute member into their families.
