Deepika Padukone’s father reacts to Ranveer Singh’s “marriage material” comment

Actor Ranveer Singh wears his heart on his sleeves. The man is a die-hard romantic and has never shied away from indulging in some PDA. Like he recently kissed Deepika Padukone when he bagged the International Man of the Year Award at an awards function. Also, they are often spotted at airport together and make for pleasant viewing as the two walk hand-in-hand without any apprehension.

So, when he appeared on Karan Johar’s talk show ‘Koffee With Karan 5’, of course questions about his alleged girlfriend Deepika were on the list and he had his answers in place. When Ranveer was asked by KJo to rate actresses Deepika Padukone, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif on the basis of whom he would kill, marry and hook up, he replied by saying that he would definitely marry Deepika Padukone because she is a complete marriage material. Of course, this was a classy reply from the man.

Now, Deepika’s father Prakash Padukone reacted on this statement made by Ranveer Singh about his lovely daughter. Speaking to a leading tabloid, Padukone said, “They are adults and know what they are doing. As father, I have given Deepika the freedom to take her own decisions. Even in this case, she is free to decide whatever she wants to do.”

Now, that’s like a super supportive parent, right? Let’s see what daughter Deepika has to say on alleged beau Ranveer’s comment.
