Dhanush and Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth to call off their divorce? Actor’s father reacts to reconciliation rumours

Dhanush and Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth shocked fans when they announced their separation in January this year. The duo’s fans were heartbroken. Since the past few days, speculations are rife that they have put their divorce on hold. Aishwaryaa and Dhanush have not yet reacted to their reconciliation rumours. Amidst this, Dhanush’s father Kasthuri Raja was asked about the reports.

In an interview with Ananda Vikatan, when asked about the reports of reconciliation between his son Dhanush and Aishwaryaa, he said, “I don’t know.”

Dhanush’s father added, “My wife and I can live a good life without the support of our children. The only expectation we have is for them to be happy. Nothing else. And anything that hampers their happiness is also a problem for us. We are happy when they are happy.”

Earlier in January, Dhanush and Aishwaryaa had shared a note announcing their separation. The note read, “18 years of togetherness as friends, couple, as parents and well wishers to each other the journey has been of growth, understanding, adjusting and adapting… Today we stand at a place where our paths separate… Aishwaryaa and I have decided to part ways as a couple and take time to understand us as individuals for the better. Please do respect our decision and give us the needed privacy to deal with this.” Fans had expressed their shock on social media. A fan had commented, “Heart breaking news.” Another one commented, “Really heartbreaking…one of my fav couples.”

Dhanush and Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth are proud parents to two sons – Yatra Raja and Linga Raja. They keep sharing their sons’ adorable moments on Instagram.
