Dhanush starrer D43 is now titled Maaran; director Karthick Naren unveils the first look poster on the actor’s birthday

Actor Dhanush is celebrating his 38th birthday today. On the occasion of his birthday, fans got a special treat as Sathya Jyothi films, the makers of D43 released the first look poster of Dhanush starrer. D43 is now titled Maaran. Apart from Dhanush, Maaran also stars Malavika Mohanan as the female lead.

The poster shows Dhanush in an angry avatar and he is seen holding a pen in his hand and crashing a person’s head onto a glass table with his other hand. The person seems to be his enemy. Also, we see broken glass pieces where we see Dhanush’s intense expressions. The film is written and directed by Karthick Naren. “His courage is his weapon Proudly presenting the first look of #Maaran … Happy birthday (sic),” tweeted Karthick as he unveiled Maaran’s poster.

Karthick is known for his movies like Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru, Mafia: Chapter 1, Naragasooran. Maaran is his fourth directorial. It is said that Dhanush and Malavika are playing journalists and it is an investigative thriller. The film also stars Master Mahendran, Samuthirakani, Smruthi Venkat and Krishnakumar among others apart from Dhanush and Malavika Mohanan.

As today is Dhanush’s birthday, Maaran’s poster has served as a treat to his fans and they can’t stop raving their superstar on social media. Fans and his industry friends have flooded social media with birthday wishes for the Asuran actor.

Dhanush was last seen in Netflix’s Jagame Thanthiram directed by Karthik Subbaraj.
