The issue of piracy is on the rise, what with movies like ‘Udta Punjab’, ‘Great Grand Masti’ suffering due to the online leak before their theatrical release. The forthcoming action comedy ‘Dishoom’ has a good strategy in place to avoid piracy of their film before release.
The makers of ‘Dishoom’ are seeking a John Doe order from the Bombay High Court. If they are successful in obtaining the order, then it will be directed to Internet Service Providers (ISPs), telecom operators and other platforms, so that any content from the movie is not leaked on their services, a statement issued on behalf of Kulmeet Makkar, CEO, Film and Television Producers Guild of India.
The movie stars John Abraham, Varun Dhawan and Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead roles along with Akshaye Khanna and Saqib Saleem in supporting roles. The film also has cameos done by three stars – Akshay Kumar, Parineeti Chopra and Nargis Fakhri.
