The father-son duo share a close relationship and even take each other’s cases. One such incident was recently revealed by Dulquer which is really adorable.

In a recent interview with ETimes, Dulquer revealed a funny anecdote with his father. He shared that his father is used to doing multiple films a year. And since he does mostly one film per year, it kind of irks the legendary superstar. He revealed, “Dad does like 5 films a year whereas I do these films which take 8-10 months to complete. So he told me you can’t come to my house if you do only one film. But when I tell him that I’m working, he wants me to do more films.”

Dulquer’s birthday wish for Mammootty

September 7 marks the legendary Mammootty’s birthday and Dulquer penned an emotional note to wish his father. He shared a couple of aesthetic pictures of him and his dad. With it, he wrote a note that just depicts his sense of pride to have Mammootty as his father.

He wrote, “When I was a boy you were the man I wanted to become. When I first stood in front of the camera you were the actor I wanted to become. When I became a father you were everything I wanted to be. I hope one day I become even half of who you are Pa ! Wishing you the happiest birthday. May you always continue to awe, entertain and inspire the world in ways only you can.”

On the professional front, Dulquer was recently seen back-to-back in a few projects. He appeared in the music video of Heeriye with Jasleen Royal. Then, he was in the RajKummar Rao led show Guns & Gulaabs. He also had the release of King Of Kotha recently.
