Etharkkum Thunindhavan Trailer: Suriya turns an avenging angel in this rural drama

The trailer of Suriya’s forthcoming Tamil film Etharkkum Thunindhavan has been unveiled by the makers. The movie has the Jai Bhim actor sharing screen space with leading lady Priyanka Arul Mohan in the action drama. The trailer starts with a fun note but soon makes a smooth transition to a revenge drama.

Etharkkum Thunindhavan is based on a social issue. The movie marks the third collaboration between Suriya and director Pandiraj after Pasanga 2 and Kadaikutty Singam. The movie also features Sathyaraj, Saranya Ponvannan, MS Baskar and Soori among others. While Vinay Rai has been roped in as the antagonist.

Etharkkum Thunindhavan has been produced by Sun Pictures. It was originally supposed to release on February 4. However, it was postponed due to the COVID-19 lockdown. It is now scheduled to release in theatres on March 10.

On the work front, Suriya has his kitty full with some lucrative projects. He will next be seen in Vetrimaaran’s next titled Vaadivasal. It is based on a popular Tamil novel of the same name. The movie marks the maiden collaboration of Suriya and Vetrimaaran. Vaadivasal, is the story about a bull and the one who captures it. The story of the film will unfold against the backdrop of Jallikattu, the ancient sport practised in Tamil Nadu. Kalaipuli S. Thanu, who had bankrolled Vetrimaaran’s last film Asuran, starring Dhanush will be producing it.

Suriya also has a yet-untitled Tamil film with director Bala, with whom he had already worked together in films such as Nandha and Pithamagan.
