EXCLUSIVE: Nagarjuna talks about wife Amala Akkineni, shares who is his strongest emotional anchor

Nagarjuna and his wife, Amala Akkineni are one of the most loved and adored celebrity couples in the entertainment industry. They tied the knot in 1991 and have had a strong marriage to date. Nagarjuna constantly talks about his wife Amala, while she continues to treat her massive fan base on Instagram with adorable pictures of the actor and her. In an exclusive chat with us, Nagarjuna spoke about his wife Amala. The Bangarraju actor even revealed who is his strongest emotional anchor when dealing with terrible lows.

The actor told Bollywood Bubble, “For me, it’s Amala. She has been during my lowest phases. So, I can talk and she will listen for an hour, without saying something.”

He added, “And, sometimes, in the position I am, everybody thinks I have no issues, no problems, and I have to always deal with problems and give answers to everybody. Not just family, I’m talking about people working under me, or wherever, doing a film, this that. Everybody thinks I have the answer for everything, but I need some answers sometimes. So yeah, she’s (Amala Akkineni) been that anchor for me.”

Nagarjuna continued, “And also now, I have both my sons.” The actor spoke about how now he has both sons, Naga Chaitanya and Akhil Akkineni beside him at times of problems or when he needs them. He said, “They’re anchors in two different ways. They’re two different personalities completely.”

The Bangarraju actor further explained, “With Chay, I discuss certain things which I am not sure whether I should do or not do, when I am in confusion.” Talking about Chay, Nagarjuna said, “He will reason it out. He’s always a devil’s advocate.” Speaking about Akhil, the Brahmastra actor said, “For my younger boy, I’ll just ask him whether ‘good’, ‘bad’, and he’ll say it right away. There’s no reasoning there.”
