Bollywood’s Shahenshah Amitabh Bachchan to debut in a television serial, the news was well received by the actors fans. Televiewers had been waiting for a long time for Amitabh Bachchan to make his acting debut on television.
Now the wait comes to an end as the first poster of the show ‘Yudh’ was launched amid much fanfare last week in Delhi with Bachchan, Sarika, Anurag Kashyap and Shoojit Sircar addressing the media.
Amitabh Bachchan who is very active on social media created the right buzz about his serial ‘Yudh’. It is produced by Endemol India with Shoojit Sircar and Anurag Kashyap helming the project as creative consultants and series director.
Deepak Dhar, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Endemol India, says, “Yudh is a high-octane fiction drama with great production values and a gripping original script.”
Yudh’s impressive star-cast has Amitabh Bachchan and Sarika, Kay Kay Menon, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and others. Kashyap has handpicked some of the finest talent from theatre and television, like Ayesha Raza, Zakir Hussain, Yusuf Hussain, Mona Vasu, Sanjay Gandhi amongst others. They are ably supported by debutants Aahana Kumra, Pavail Gulati, Avinash Tiwari, in central roles.
