Ghani: Varun Tej starrer sports drama gets a new release date

Varun Tej starrer Ghani has got a new release date. The sports drama is now all set to hit the theatres on February 25, 2022. It has been announced after his comedy film F3 postponed to May. Ghani will have major box-office clashes with Ajith Kumar’s Valimai and Sharwanand and Rashmika Mandanna’s Aadavallu Meeku Johaarlu.

Sharing the new release date, Varun dropped a motion poster and wrote, “3 years of our blood & sweat.
The time has finally come to earn your respect on February 25th!See you in theatres!???”

Apart from Varun Tej, Ghani also stars Naveen Chandra who is playing the role of the antagonist and Saiee Manjrekar in the female lead. Upendra, Jagapathi Babu, Sonal Chauhan, Sunil and Suneil Shetty are also in pivotal roles. Ghani is jointly produced by Sidhu Mudda and Allu Bobby under the banners of Renaissance Pictures and Allu Bobby Company respectively. It is written and directed by Kiran Korrapati.

Varun is playing the lead role of a boxer. He has gone through a rigorous training to get into the skin of his character. He was trained under Tony Jeffries, an olympic champion. The action sequences in the film are choreographed by Larnell Stovall, who is known for his works in American Civil War, Captain America among others.
