Ghani: Varun Tej starrer to arrive in theatres this Diwali; actor shares a brand new poster

Varun Tej starrer Ghani has got a release date. The Telugu actor took to his Twitter handle to share the news with his fans. He also released a new poster. In the poster, Tej can be seen in the boxing ring with the gloves on and he is seen facing his back. The boxing-based Telugu film, Ghani is releasing this Diwali in November in theatres.

Sharing the poster, Varun Tej wrote, “Let’s light up the theatres this Diwali with #Ghani(sic)”.

Recently, Varun shared a glimpse of his transformed physique for his upcoming movie. “Stand up. Stand out. Stand tall(sic)”, he wrote.

Ghani is directed by debutant Kiran Korrapati and is bankrolled by Allu Aravind along with Allu Venkatesh and Sidhu Mudda. Music is composed by S Thaman. Actress Saiee Manjrekar is making her Telugu debut with this movie and it also stars Suniel Shetty.

Earlier, talking about the film, Varun Tej had told Hindustan Times, “I will work closely with a trainer from Mumbai to shed weight. My boxing trainer will be flown in from Los Angeles. I’ve played different characters so far but this is the first time I’ll be required to change myself physically for the sake of a character. It’s going to be a very exciting project and we plan to mount it on a large scale.”
