Here’s how Anushka Sharma got the right amount of awkwardness for a scene with Aishwarya Rai

The movie ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ entered the Rs 100 crore club and all the three actors, Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anushka Sharma garnered appreciation for their performances in the movie. It was the first time that Anushka and Aishwarya came together for a film. Of course, it was a starry moment for Anushka to share screen space with the beautiful Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

She recently revealed in an interview with a web portal, that the right level of unfamiliarity with Aishwarya helped in bringing about the awkwardness in the scene. Said Anushka, “I was very excited to work with Aishwarya. I knew it would be just one scene over dinner table but I knew that it was the most important scene of the film. Everyone is aware about her beauty, and I am also bowled over by her poise. Now, let me tell you that Aishwarya and I had not interacted much before we shot for the scene. So, that unfamiliarity helped in creating the right awkwardness which was required at that moment.”
