Here’s why Ram Charan didn’t celebrate when wife Upasana first told him she was pregnant

Ram Charan and wife Upasana are one of the most loved couples in the industry. Ram and Upasana are expecting their first child. They are beyond happy and excited to become parents soon. Now, in a recent interview, Upasana spilled the beans on Ram Charan’s reaction when she first told him she was pregnant. She called Ram a ‘calm’ person and added that they celebrated only after her pregnancy was confirmed with multiple ‘repeated tests’.

Upasana reveals Ram Charan’s reaction to her pregnancy news

Speaking with ETimes, Upasana shared, “When I told him that I think I am pregnant, he said, ‘Don’t get too excited, calm down’. Once we repeated the tests and we knew that all the tests were fine, that’s when he celebrated. That is what I admire the most about Ram, he’s the calming factor in my life, while I am the most excited one. I love to express my feelings, he does it calmly in his own way.”

She further added that they are ‘excited and nervous’. She went on to add, “Ram is my go-to man, when I am hyper or having anxiety attacks. He calmly sits me down and says, ‘Okay, let’s figure it out’. I am sure Ram will take an active part in parenting.”

Here’s how Ram Charan and Upasana announced pregnancy

For the uninitiated, Ram and Upasana’s pregnancy news was shared by their family in December last year. The couple shared a note on Instagram which reads, “With the blessings of Shri Hanuman ji. We are delighted to share that Upasana & Ram Charan are expecting their first child. With love & Gratitude…Surekha & Chiranjeevi Konidela, Shobana & Anil Kamineni.”

Ram and Upasana celebrated their 11^th wedding anniversary on Wednesday. On the special day, they shared a romantic photo on Instagram and wrote in the caption, “It’s been an awesome 11 years.”

On the work front, Ram Charan starrer RRR created history by winning an Oscar for Best Original Song earlier this year.
